* Of course, you expect from students to be disciplined but did you know you should be also very disciplined? For example you can deny that 10th beer on the eve of a school day.
* Admit that the classroom is actually a war zone not a peaceful and intellectual paradise. If students are not willing to learn, adjust your goals to something more achievable. For example, make sure they write a half-page small letter without grammar and spelling mistakes instead of expecting them to write two pages stuffed with boring details.
* Always improve your teaching methods surprising the students. You want to do that for them but for yourself as well. Keep an eye for quality methodology books and study them eagerly.
* Don’t talk too much or at least make sure there are intervals in your talk time. Use the power of discussion to let the students get involved, ask questions and let the students ask questions as well.

* Use the power of technology. Being able to use the internet to help your students is an essential skill. The internet is an inexhaustible resource for teaching materials and stuff that students will love.
* Students will always test your patience by not paying too much attention or asking questions over and over again. You must be patient enough to keep the lesson going.
* Be clean. Always bath yourself at least twice a day. Perfume and deodorant just can’t replace a nice shower. It will only take you a few minutes and you will feel refreshed and ready to go!
* Speak well. Make sure others understand your words and phrases. Use a clear voice and a natural talking rhythm. If students don’t understand something you say, please rephrase, otherwise you will give the impression that it is ok to talk like that.
